Four pillars for success

The exclusive fireside chat with Raiffeisenlandesbank Lower Austria-Vienna CEO Michael Höllerer was one of the highlights of the workshop in Andau in the region of Burgenland. Höllerer, who is an experienced manager, shared his knowledge of the strategic development of companies with the café+co Explorers and showed what is required to operate successfully as a company in the long term. Höllerer aligns his day-to-day work to the common Raiffeisen vision and to four pillars of success:
  1. Customer orientation: It is not just about understanding and meeting the needs of customers; it is also about creating unique customer experiences. This should apply for the entire company, irrespective of whether it is the accounts department, warehouse or sales team.
  2. Innovation: The word is always in frequent use and everybody knows that it is essential. Accepting and striving for it, however, is not enough; there is more to it.
  3. Cooperation: Through the specific collaboration with suppliers, technology providers, food producers and other companies, it is possible to discover and use synergies.
  4. Culture: It is the most important ingredient for success. How people interact with one another in the company. Open communication and a respectful working atmosphere promote the exchange of ideas and the cohesion in the team.
