The topics of the future for the managing directors
A number of challenges
"In an increasingly globalised and networked world it is of decisive importance for companies to recognise the challenges of the future early on and to take corresponding measures." With this joint statement, the café+co managing directors are underlining the importance of the work in the café+co Explorer project. Because the challenges faced by café+co are many:
- Energy crisis and climate change: Climate change is one of the most pressing global challenges of our time. A shortage of energy and increasing energy costs are leading to a rise in production and operational costs along the entire value chain.
- Change in consumer behaviour: Digitalisation and technological progress have radically changed consumer behaviour. Consumers expect personalised experiences, rapid access to their products and seamless omnichannel interaction.
- Shortage of labour: Demographic change and a shortage of labour are also affecting our business models. The goal is to develop solutions to bind qualified employees to the company.
The topics of the future for café+co
In order to take up these challenges and make positive use of them for café+co, the managing directors contributed their most pressing topics of the future to the café+co Explorer project:
- Flexibility: In a rapidly changing world, flexibility is a key factor for success. Our organisation has to be able to adapt quickly to changes.
- Technical innovations: The rapid development of new technologies is opening up a host of possibilities for us as a company to organise our processes more efficiently and to surprise customers with our products and services. Cashless payments are just the beginning here.
- Awaken the interest of young generations: Young generations constitute an important target group, either as potential customers or as future employees. In order to awaken their interest, we need to know and understand their requirements and expectations.
With these ideas on board, the café+co Explorers will be looking at the scenario method at the end of May. We will keep you posted!
