The magic of creative thinking

Creativity is not just a tool; it is also a key to understanding and shaping the future. If you would like to know more about this method, please contact one of the café+co Explorers and have it explained to you!

In a rapidly changing world, an overarching question poses itself: "What could the future be like?" The café+co Explorer team found a fascinating answer to this in Copenhagen. With the aid of creative thinking processes and visualisation methods, they looked into a world that many of us find difficult to imagine.

The dynamics of the global markets and the constantly changing customer requirements demand that companies permanently adapt. For café+co this means forging new paths in understanding future scenarios. In the process, it was shown that creative thinking, combined with specific, visual representations, opens up the gateway to the future.

The café+co Explorer team opted for a particularly innovative approach: the visualisation of their deliberations through collages. This form made it possible for the team to delve deeper into the potential developments and interrelationships of the future. It was like putting together a puzzle in which each piece symbolised an aspect of the future. As the scenarios were closely examined, selected images became powerful symbols that embodied the core messages of the respective future perspectives.

The result was impressive. One glance at a collage was sufficient to understand the vision that it depicted. It was a challenging process but at the end of the workshop there was an insightful picture of the possible paths that café+co could take in the future.

Creativity, however, goes beyond the mere creation of collages. It is the key to finding orientation in an uncertain world and to shaping it. The café+co Explorer team is a pioneer here and shows us that it is possible to “see” the future with creative methods. Would you like to find out more about this approach?
