The last step is the first one

On 64 pages, the Master Guideline developed by the café+co Explorers maps out the path into a successful future for café+co. The development of this strategy paper was a collective process that integrated the specialist knowledge and the commitment of all operational units of the café+co Group. Through workshops, discussions and continuous exchange of information and ideas, the café+co Explorers created a broad perspective and derived suitable measures for the future development of the café+co Group.

The last day within the framework of the café+co Explorer project was used to review the journey together and to define the first steps for the implementation of the Master Guideline in collaboration with the café+co management.

Visualisation

The vision developed within the café+co Explorer project “We care for your well-being. You enjoy!” was visualised in haptic form in order to make it more tangible for the future – a proven method of the café+co Explorer team.

Decision making

To guarantee the implementation of the Master Guideline, decision times were determined at which the café+co Group jointly defines which initiatives and projects are implemented. The collaboration across national borders is thus being thought afresh.

Innovation Team

The concept of an “Innovation Team” was developed in order to manage this process. The café+co managing directors will work on this concept in more detail over the next few months in order to establish the process of joint decision making.

Importance

The café+co Explorers presented to the managing directors the measures and initiatives that they considered the most urgent from the Master Guideline. They thus provided a broad cross-section across structural measures and the expansion of our core competencies up to and including the entry into new business segments. All managing directors were more than impressed by the performance of the café+co team and the content that they had developed.

Although the café+co Explorer project has now been completed, it marks the start of a new and exciting era for café+co. The Master Guideline will make a fundamental contribution to the company‘s strategic alignment. This day was proof of the team‘s ability to achieve great things through collaboration between groups. With pride in the successes to date and a high degree of motivation for the future, it is time to take café+co to a new level. We look forward to the upcoming successes together!
