Kick-off workshop on the implementation of the café+co Master Guideline
Znojmo: A creative start
In Znojmo, the café+co Explorers once again put their heads together to produce some great results. Based on their experiences in the café+co Explorer project, they have now defined the guidelines as to how the café+co Master Guideline is to be implemented. The café+co Explorers specified four success factors:
- Clear structures and processes: The workshop made it possible for the café+co Explorer team to develop structures and processes for the implementation. This incorporates the definition of responsibilities and the creation of a framework for the continuous assessment and adaptation of the strategy.
- Effective communication: A pivotal aspect of the workshop was the development of communication tools and meeting structures that facilitate an open and transparent exchange of information. This is decisive for ensuring that all participants are informed about the progress and can actively contribute to the implementation.
- Motivation and commitment: Another focus was finding ways of motivating colleagues from the café+co Group to collaborate in strategic initiatives. By creating use cases, such as for the “Water Market” and “e-Mobility” initiatives, it was possible to develop specific structures and approaches in order to recognise and address the employees’ requirements and interests.
- Understanding of roles and responsibility: To conclude the workshop, the Explorer team defined their own role in the implementation structure. This was aided by creative methods such as the visualisation of the structural approach using Playmobil, which led to vivid interpretations and an improved understanding of individual contributions.
The workshop in Znojmo was deliberately held in a very creative setting in order to establish new ways of collaborating. Innovative approaches were developed based on the insights gained in the café+co Explorer process, in particular with regard to interdisciplinary teams and open communication. Through role play, interviews and creative structuring, it was possible to devise respectful and future-oriented solutions.
With the implementation guidelines, the café+co Explorers are passing on their experiences from the last few months to their colleagues and shaping the future processes within the café+co Group so that as many employees as possible can become part of the Explorer project.
We are excited to see how our management responds to the ideas that have been developed. At our management meeting in June, we will also hear about their role and expectations in the strategy process and define the common approach for the upcoming financial year.
